If you love the combination of Sherry and peat, you'll definitely want to take a look at this - an Oloroso Sherry butt finished peated 29 year old BenRiach! This was distilled in December 1986 and bottled in August 2016 as part of their 13th batch of single cask releases. 568 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Sumptuous ripe plums and dried figs surrounded by a sweet barbeque smoke character.
Palate
Rich sticky dates and dark orange marmalade combine with sweet peat notes and lingering cigar box characters, all infused with fresh coffee grounds and cocoa beans.
