Benriach's Cask Edition collection is a series of periodic releases, selected by master blender Dr. Rachel Barrie to showcase some of the Speyside-based distillery's most individual and unique cask types. This single malt was distilled in July 1998 and filled into a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon to mature for a generous 24 years, yielding a total of 587 bottles when it was opened in 2023.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Medjool dates. molasses and raisins on the nose with aromatic tobacco, chocolate, cherries and orange peel.

Palate Wood tannin balanced by luscious sweetness: dried fruit and toffee notes. A splash of water brings out stewed apple and plum notes laced with spices.

Finish Very long and rich with lingering fruit and almonds.
