Port and peat, what a treat! This Benriach single malt was distilled on 23 February 2005, and left to mature in a single Port pipe for the next 14 years (cask number 3791 just in case you were curious). A limited 272 bottles were released at 55.3% ABV for the 16th batch of single cask releases from the Speyside distillery.
Bramble and baked apple pie topped with burnt orange and redcurrant on pastry.
Roasted apple, liquorice and fennel with cherry, salted caramel and dark chocolate.
