Rum Finish
Single cask single malt from Benriach and the distillery's 16th batch of single cask bottlings. This one was matured for 13 years in a rum barrel, from May 2005 to 2019, and was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 254 bottles. Plenty of the tropical fruit deliciousness of the rum comes through in the final whisky, making for a lip-smacking dram.
Tropical notes of guava and cantaloupe melon combine with vanilla. Chocolate and coconut covered marshmallow soften and round off the nose.
Tropical fruit salad with pineapple, pear and papaya. Honeyed melon and coconut cream linger into the smooth, sweet finish.
