Description
Claxton's are to thank for bottling this wonderful Speysider, which began its life at Benriach back in December 2008. It was aged in a single hogshead for a whole decade before it was bottled, with 251 bottles released at 56.5% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coffee ice cream, young oak and melted white chocolate.
Palate
A touch of burnt caramel, with fruit loaf, buttered brioche and hazelnut mocha.
Finish
Chocolate-coated almond, cinnamon pastry and drying oak.
