Here we've got an independently bottled single malt from the Ben Nevis Distillery, matured in a pair of hogshead casks for eight years – from October 2013 to January 2022. After its maturation, it was bottled by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection (without chill-filtration, surprisingly).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cornflakes with milk, diced almonds, waxy peels.
Palate
Crumbly fudge, cinnamon gum, sultana, walnut.
Finish
Very slightly savoury, though the citrus returns to balance it out.
