Wine and Spirit Merchant Nickolls and Perks is venturing into the world of independent bottling, and this impressive single malt from Ben Nevis joins its Inaugral Casks collection. Distilled in 1996, the whisky spent 26 years maturing in a refill hogshead, yielding a total of 148 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Aromas of suede and coconut sugar garnished with pine sprigs. Brie and antique shop allude to the exceptional age. After a crackle of spice on the palate, more coconut sugar, espresso, and cocoa nibs in cookie dough. Fusty warehouse and tobacco linger.
