Ben Nevis 19 Year Old Bottling Note

A 19 year old Ben Nevis, drawn from a refill Sherry butt and independently bottled by us for our Single Cask Series! This was distilled in June 1996 and bottled in April 2016 at 50.6% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Apple sauce and clotted cream, followed by juicy raspberries. A touch of fresh lemon meringue develops.

Palate: Gingerbread biscuits covered in icing. Mead and cider, fruity coffee and some meaty barley notes.

Finish: Drying though subtly floral, with a prickle of cinnamon lasting.

Ben Nevis 19 Year Old 1996 - Single Cask (Master of Malt) Reviews

value for money.

I ordered a bottle of this from private barrel co. it was something else. I must however say that for the same price I would rather get a bottle of Glenfarclas 17 year old. the flavour coming through, dark fruit, dates and rasins honestly makes glenfarclas the superior highland malt.
