A 19 year old Ben Nevis, drawn from a refill Sherry butt and independently bottled by us for our Single Cask Series! This was distilled in June 1996 and bottled in April 2016 at 50.6% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple sauce and clotted cream, followed by juicy raspberries. A touch of fresh lemon meringue develops.
Palate
Gingerbread biscuits covered in icing. Mead and cider, fruity coffee and some meaty barley notes.
Finish
Drying though subtly floral, with a prickle of cinnamon lasting.
