Description
A vintage 2012 Ben Nevis single malt aged for a total of 12 years inclduing a finish in a Port-seasoned octave. That gives it a darker, more brooding edge, with the distillery’s famously sturdy character keeping everything grounded. It was bottled at 54.8% ABV by Duncan Taylor from The Octave.

Nose
Plum compote, dried fruit, malt loaf, cocoa and earthy undertones.
Palate
Dense and spicy with dark fruit, bitter chocolate, and savoury malt.
Finish
Lingering spice, dried fruit and a satisfying dryness.
