This Ben Nevis single malt Scotch whisky was bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh from a single cask (#800364). The spirit was distilled on 5 April 2013 and aged 11 years, first in a refill hogshead but then finished for over a year in a first-fill Palo Cortado quarter cask. It was bottled at 53% ABV on 8 July 2024, natural colour and non-chill-filtered, and only 139 bottles were produced.
Varnished oak and a hint of brine, complimented with pineapple and zest.
Oily and mouth coating, dried mango and fruitcake with an earthiness and leather.
Medium length of cloves, candied ginger and dark cherry.
