Quite soft and gentle. Malted barley and hints of cut herbs and a fresh floral note. Cereal and grist with a little honey.

but boy does it ever take a bad turn. Foul aftertaste left in my mouth.
I enjoy single malts but was caught short bought this and surprisingly enjoyable worth a look if on budget
There's nothing palatable at all about it, can put you off whisky for a while after a single sip.
The cost of the malt components in blended whiskey offerings has led to a downslide in quality of Bell's, and others. The 1970s and 80s blends had more and better malt percentages. Just the economics of it.
I really dislike Bells whisky. At first it's acceptable but the aftertaste makes me regret it every time. It hangs at the back of my throat like I've inhaled plastic fumes. I would never drink Bells on its own. Acceptable in an Irish coffee if you're not fussy.
