Bell's Original is a smooth, well-rounded whisky with a hint of smoke. It's perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks.
Bell's whisky is the United Kingdom's most popular blended Scotch whisky, this is the standard release of Bell's Original, with notes of fresh herbs on the nose with cereal sweetness on the palate.
Quite soft and gentle. Malted barley and hints of cut herbs and a fresh floral note. Cereal and grist with a little honey.
Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice.
Short with notes of fruitcake and smoke.

Disgusting. Tastes as if it has had some chemical added. Tried to camouflage with Stones Ginger Wine, bit it tasted even worse. Yuk!
Smooth and flavorful, an easy sipping whiskey for drinking neat
Bought a small bottle of Bells last night as I fancied a whisky and of all the cheapo blended brands Bells has been pretty drinkable for the money .......oh dear God what have they done , the fake peat /iodine flavouring is way over the top a la Laphroiag and has rendered the stuff almost undrinkable ! Looks like I will have to bite the bullet and try and keep a bottle of half decent single malt hidden somewhere for the odd whisky craving night .......
Malt Whisky prices me out and to be fair this does what it needs to do. A no frills but tasty whisky. Blended to suite the many rather than the connoisseur.
My god, what is this chemical taste that has now that seemed to cut through all other flavours? Bells is a decent, nice and rich flavour for the first few seconds then before you know it, it's like the cult leader just commanded us all to "drink the koolaid" if you catch my drift. Tried to dilute it with coke and the chemical taste of the whisky cut straight through. Coke is literally all chemicals so it appears we've found the one chem to rule them all. 1 star though, as it did manage to get me drunk in a pinch.
