I'd say it's great as a beginner's whisky. Especially diluted, the challenging flavours like peat don't come through as much, and instead we're left with sweeter tones that are easy to distinguish if you know they're there.
Taste like someone has flicked cigarette ash into it.
Great blend, smoky and earthy and balanced with sweetness
This ain't what it used to be. Tasted almost medicinal like TCP. Used to be my whisky of choice as a blend, but now have tasted better supermarket blends
I have bought Bells whisky a few times in the past and it was sooth tasting. However I have just purchase a bottle from Sainsburys and this has a definitely smoky flavour, has the blend been changed? The smokiness is so strong that I feel unable to serve this to friends. Can someone please explain!
