1792 Bottled in Bond has a high rye content, around 15-25%, making it a suitably spicy expression. Abiding by the rules sets as part of the Bottled in Bond Act, passed all the way back in 1897, the whiskey is bottled at 100 proof (or 50% ABV as we say round these parts). The act also ensures the whiskey comes from a single distillery, from a single season and is aged for at least 4 years.
Chocolatey, with oak char, roasted coffee bean and banana foam sweeties, along with baking spice.
Creamy vanilla alongside a crack of black pepper, with prominent cinnamon spice, caramel and cooked orchard fruits.
Liquorice Allsorts, with spicy rye and vanilla oak.
