Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is sweet and fragrant. Very well fruity, pear notes, apple peel and sweet esters. Toasted oak creeps in with a floral edge. The palate is rich. Sherried fruits and burnt sugar and a little allspice, with a soft vanilla. There’s a good balanced of peat and a soft smoke followed by a little star anise and fennel. The finish is sweet with gentle sherried notes.
