Balvenie The DCS Compendium Chapter Four - The Complete Set

The fourth chapter of Balvenie's DCS Compendium is titled 'Expecting the Unexpected', though you can expect deliciousness aplenty. A lot of deliciousness, considering you can get your hands on each bottle from this chapter within one handsome case. That's right, all five bottles of extraordinary Speyside single malt from Balvenie's DCS Compendium Chapter Four are here, including a whisky aged for 47 years! Outstanding stuff once again from Balvenie.

    Producer's Tasting Note:

Nose: Exotic spices with brown sugar and dark fruits

Palate: Rich and deep with layers of oak and honeycomb

Finish: Lingering dried fruits with a malty sweetness

Palate: Plenty of dried fruits, a gentle oakiness and hint of dark chocolate

    Finish: Lingering spicy sweetness

    Balvenie 26 Year Old 1992 - 49.8% ABV

    Balvenie 18 Year Old 1999 - 46.8% ABV

    Producer's Tasting Note:

Nose: Fragrant, floral and fruity with pineapple, melons and vanilla pods
