Balvenie have reached Chapter Three of the DCS Compendium - a series of extraordinary releases celebrating the five decades that Malt Master David C. Stewart has been working for the distillery in Speyside. Chapter 3 is titled 'Secrets of the Stock Model', and gives light to the Malt Master's tough task of controlling all manner of variables impacting the maturing whisky stocks. This chapter features five different expressions, each drawn from a single cask, including whisky distilled in 2004, 1993, 1981, 1973 and 1961. That last one, by the way, is the oldest whisky released by Balvenie to the public to date - a 55 year old Balvenie single malt. Cor.
