Single cask Balvenie single malt, released as part of the fourth chapter of the DCS Compendium. Chapter four is titled 'Expecting the Unexpected', feature once again features some absolutely stunning expressions from the distillery's extensive warehouse. This one is an 18 year old single malt distilled in 1999 and matured in a single refill American oak hogshead until it was bottled in 2018.
Fragrant, floral and fruity with pineapple, melons and vanilla pods.
A luscious mouthful of fresh fruit, toffee and maple syrup.
Rich, creamy with a warming spice.
