Balmenach 1989 (bottled 2007) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail) Whisky

An old school style bottling from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice indie bottling range – this time featuring single malt Scotch whisky distilled by Balmenach. The whisky was distilled all the way back in 1989, and eventually bottled up at 43% ABV in 2007. There haven't been loads of independent bottlings of Balmenach, so if you're curious what they're all about, this ought to be an intriguing treat...
