An independently bottled single malt Scotch whisky from the Balmenach Distillery, bottled by Italy's Hidden Spirits. It was distilled back in 2007 and bottled 14 years later in 2021 at 52.9% ABV. There's a rather handsome painting of what looks to be a train station on the label.
Quite cakey, with lots of vanilla and honey notes, plus some hints of leather and oak.
Shortbread, nutmeg, lemon cheesecake, whispers of walnut.
Another touch of sweet citrus finishes this one off.
