Joining the Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited Collection is this Balmenach single malt, distilled in 2012 and matured for 10 years in an oloroso sherry cask. Balmenach is usually destined for blends, so a single malt bottling of the stuff is always a nice treat. A limited outturn here of 1247 bottles.
Dried fruits, candied citrus, and a touch of cloves.
Currant-studded tea loaf, brown sugar, dried figs, and warm spices throughout.
Sweet cinnamon and sticky raisins.
