The history of distilling on the Ballindalloch Estate in the Spey Valley dates back to the 1820s, and in 2015, its current owners officially opened a brand new Ballindalloch distillery! The estate grows its own barley, and waste is fed back to the cattle on its land in this small, hands-on operation. This single malt was distilled in 2015 and is the first to be made widely available outside of the distillery having matured in a combo of bourbon and sherry casks until 2024.
