Description

Add a sumptuously silky base to your cocktails with this litre bottle of Ballantine's Barrel Smooth! A portion of this blended Scotch is treated to a stay in "caramelised" oak barrels, which have been toasted just the right amount to caramelise any sugar within, and unleash a host of vanilla and spice character.

Nose

Soft caramel, buttered toast, crisp orchard fruits, and toasted oak.

Palate

Biscuity malt and toasted oats, drizzled with honey, backed up by creamy vanilla and a pinch of anise.

Finish

Oaken vanilla lingers, with butterscotch, and a touch of citrus in tow.
