A 2004 vintage single malt Scotch from Balblair distillery, which was matured in sherry butts before being bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV. A fabulous Highland dram, originally launched as a Travel Retail exclusive.
Nose: Raisins, honey, leather and gingersnap biscuits, with green apple, liquorice and dark chocolate.
Palate: More honey balanced by dried berries, tobacco and spice alongside vanilla sweetness and more dark chocolate.
Finish: Lengthy and warming with a balanced bitterness.
