A 2003 vintage single malt Scotch whisky from the Balblair distillery. They were matured in second fill bourbon casks until 2013 when the whisky was popped in Balblair's stylish bottles.
Bright aromas of delicate flowers, light citrus blossom and a trickle of honey.
Oranges and lemons, fresh and fruity. More honey? Yes indeed!
A fairly spicy finish.
Classic Balblair brilliance.

Gorgeous whisky. A drop of water brings out the honey/orange flavour but certainly doesn't dampen that firey finish. What a mouthbuzz!
Beautiful single Malt whisky - the 03 was a beautiful Whisky, highly recommend - would love another bottle but finding it seems to be a bit of a challenge.
I am usually a fan of heavily sherried whiskies so I didn't expect to think much of this. I was completely wrong though - it's beautifully balanced and as good as anything in this price range
I would recomend, complex and well made. You will not be disappointed.
just phenomenal.
