A beautiful single cask Balblair, aged for 20 years in a single Oloroso sherry butt (number 166) before it was bottled for the Bladnoch forum in June of 2010. Fruity and rich.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Custard sweetness, stewed fruits, strawberry conserve, boiled sweets and malt.
Palate
Creamy and sweet, with more of those boiled sweet notes, hints of tropical fruit, orange zest, marmalade, berry fruits, honey and malt.
Finish
Fruity and creamy finish with manuka honey and rhubarb and custard sweets.
