Nose Just as the name suggests, sugared almonds to the fore. Very nutty and sweet, with hints of barley sugar, grist, marzipan and calves leather. Danish pastries too.
Palate Sweet and very spicy with notes of cardamom and hints of cassia bark, this develops on clove oil, black pepper and marzipan. Malty.
