Distilled in 2014, this single malt from Aultmore matured for nine years in one bourbon hogshead and a pair of refill barrels. The casks were opened by James Eadie in 2024 and the whisky bears the name The Cross Keys, one of the many pubs to have been owned by the indie bottler's namesake.
Zesty notes of citrus peel, juicy apples and pears lead to layers of oaken vanilla and butterscotch, with a touch of floral tea.
Crisp green apple with dustings of cinnamon is supported by vanilla cream and mellow oak.
Warming spices develop, while caramel sweetness and toasted oak linger.
