12 year old Aultmore single malt Scotch whisky, unveiled in 2014 for the Last Great Malts by Dewar's. A refreshing dram, with plenty of vanilla, honey and citrus, alongside a touch of grassiness. It's been quite a while since a distillery bottling of Aultmore has been released, so this is all rather exciting indeed.

Great malt

This is an absolutely outstanding dram and the fact that it has natural coloring and is non-chill filtered makes it a 10+. Something about the whole natural coloring and non-chill filter mentality really resonates with me. Hard to put into words. Came across it in the duty-free while returning from vacation in Europe. Wish I had stockpiled a bunch as I don’t know how available it will be anymore.
