Aultmore 11 Year Old - Exceptional Cask Series
This wonderful Aultmore was bottled from a vatting of three sherry casks, with one first fill and two second fill Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 11 years old, the single malt was released with an outturn of 2,472 bottles at 46% ABV. Very fruity, jammy stuff from the Speyside distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dried mango, espresso and oak, with aromatic clove, spiced bread and stewed apple.
Palate
Oaky vanilla, fresh pine and orange blossom, with a hit of cardamom.
Finish
Cinnamon and floral lavender honey, a pinch of tobacco and plum jam.
