The folks at independent bottler Alistair Walker picked out an ace cask of Aultmore single malt for this release! Distilled in 2010, the whisky spent 11 years maturing, including time in a ruby Port cask, until 2021 when a total of 307 bottles were released for the Infrequent Flyers series.
Dark fruits, nutty malt, and gentle oak char welcome the way, with wafts of chocolate raisins and fresh figs.
Jammy fruit continues, with warming prickles of ginger alongside caramelised biscuits.
Grassy zest, butterscotch, sultanas, and cinnamon.
