Distilled in 2012, this single malt from Aultmore spent the next decade maturing in a ruby Port cask, under the watchful eyes of the gang at independent bottler Càrn Mòr. The cask was opened in 2023, yielding a total of 1,098 bottles for Càrn Mòr's Strictly Limited collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy vanilla custard, juicy stewed berries, and nutty malt.
Palate
Fruit and nut chocolate joins jammy red berries, with buttery fudge, and crumbly vanilla shortbread.
Finish
That creaminess lingers, with plump raisins, and a pinch of cinnamon in tow.
