An awesome Auchroisk here from the Lady of the Glen range, which has enjoyed a lengthy finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez sherry octave cask. It was distilled in 2001 and bottled at 9 years of age in 2020, with an outturn of only 53 bottles.
Blackberry, menthol, waxy orange and just a smidge of fennel.
More dark fruit sweetness, balanced by cigar box, cask char and honeycomb.
Lasting mint chocolate and banana fritters.
