9 year old single malt from the Auchroisk Distillery, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2019 after enjoying maturation in a red wine cask. Only 354 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Malt loaf, strawberries and cream, some soft hints of sawdust.
Palate
More red berries and cedar, followed by touches of salted caramel and beeswax.
Finish
A good balance of savoury and sweet on the finish.
