    Single Malt

Auchroisk 27 Year Old 1994 (Thompson Bros.)

A well-matured single malt here from the Auchroisk Distillery, independently bottled by the Thompson Bros.! This one was distilled in 1994, and left to rest for 27 years, before it was bottled up at 51.9% ABV with an outturn of 218 bottles. There's also a good bird on the label, for all you ornithology enthusiasts out there.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

A balance of sweet and savoury, with green pear and barley sugars juxtaposed by vegetal oak and baked earth.

    Palate

Buttery malt and toasted teacake, plus creamy vanilla, dry oak, and peppercorn.

    Finish

A hint of lemon cheesecake appears on the finish.
