Single cask Auchroisk, distilled back in August 1990 and bottled 26 years later in January 2017. 615 bottles were drawn from the refill butt, and presented as part of Signatory's Cask Strength Collection.
Spicy stem ginger, apricot, rounded vanilla and a touch of Corinth raisin.
Peppery oak and mint leaf. Juicy orange and another scoop of juicy raisin.
Hot cross buns with plenty of butter.

First taste without water - warm, smooth with a fleeting impression of wood fire - long comforting after taste. Adding water (just a little) opened up the perfume and lost the smoke leaving a lasting sweetness and warm after taste. I like it very much.
Very tasty and very savory.. Almost an aftertaste of cheese.. And as weird as that sounds it is not! Delicious
