A single cask bottling of single malt from the Auchroisk distillery, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr as part of the Celebration of the Cask range. It was allowed to mature in a bourbon barrel for 24 years, from December 1991 to September 2016. Only 185 bottles were produced.
Shortbread biscuits, mince pies and dried apricot. A hint of wet grass.
Caramel-coated biscuits at first (maybe some more shortbread?), before delving into juicy apples and oranges.
Popcorn nuttiness, with a touch of floral malt.
