Single malt from the brilliant Auchroisk distillery, aged in refill American hogsheads from 2005 to 2016 before being independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range. Yum.
Lemongrass, dried barley and a generous helping of rice pudding.
Fruity at first (think pineapple, grapefruit and just a hint of white grape), though soon enough it becomes thick with caramel and vanilla-y malt.
White chocolate and cedar.
