A single cask Auchroisk single malt, independently bottled by Malts of Scotland. This whisky was placed in to a single bourbon hogshead back in 1996 and allowed to age until 2018, when it was bottled with an outturn of 267 cask strength bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Big wafts of cut grass as it opens, followed by white chocolate, melted butter and candle wax.
Palate
Nougat, red chill flakes, toffee, honey on toast, earthy barley.
Finish
Floral on the finish with orange blossom. A lasting touch of cooking spice.
