Auchroisk 14yo 2001 Bottling Note

This 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky was distilled at Auchroisk's large capacity distillery before it was independently bottled by WM Cadenhead in 2017. Auchroisk are known for producing spirit that's fresh and light, due to the particularly soft water that collects at the local spring, Dorie's Well. This edition is no exception.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Floral and particularly sweet from fresh red fruit, crisp raspberry is joined by notes of fresh malt, with slight oak.

Palate: Fresh fruit makes way for a buttery texture that teaming with caramel or vanilla. There's a slightly odd grassy feel present too that lingers with the hints of oak.

Finish: Short, heavy caramel and welcome black pepper, with the slightest suggestion of mint.
