Auchroisk 13 Year Old 2012 (cask 9088) - Infrequent Flyers (Alistair Walker)
This 13-year-old Auchroisk was distilled in 2012 and finished for two years and six months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. The active PX cask adds layers of dark sweetness to Auchroisk’s lighter, nutty Speyside character. Cask 9088 was bottled by Alistair Walker at its natural strength of 56.8% ABV, without chill filtration or added colour. A total of 333 bottles were released.

Nose
Ripe Conference pear, espresso, almond praline, cocoa, and dark sugar.
Palate
Velvety and rich, with crème brûlée, roasted almond, and nutmeg.
Finish
Long and sweet, with coffee, caramelised sugar, chocolate, and drying spice.
