A single cask Auchroisk from Hannah Whisky Merchants, this single malt was distilled in 2007 and left in a bourbon hogshead for over a decade. After, it was finished in a first fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead before being bottled at 12 years old. A limited 265 cask strength bottles were released for the Lady of the Glen range, weighing in at 56.3% ABV.
Nose: Caramel digestive biscuits, blackberry jam and hints of oak spice.
Palate: Dry oak, honey and crisp orchard fruit leads into more tropical nuances, with banana ice cream alongside orange oil.
Finish: Bounty Bar lingers alongside oak spices on a sweet, dry finish.
