A fab indie bottling of Auchroisk single malt, distilled in 2010 and matured for 11 years in an ex-bourbon cask. The whisky was bottled up by Deerstalker for part of The Wild Scotland Collection, at a bold 57.8% ABV. We're not tip-top on our ornithology, but what with the range displaying various Scottish wildlife on the labels, we're fairly confident this one here features a pair of grouse.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Soft oak with a touch of pine, sweetcorn, and crisp green apple.

Palate Creamy vanilla, toasty barley, and crunchy butter biscuits, with warming baking spice, a touch of zesty citrus, and toffee popcorn.

Finish Buttery pastries, toffee apples, oaky vanilla, and lingering wafts of ginger and spice.
