Distilled at Auchroisk in 2009, this 11-year-old Speyside single malt initially matured in a bourbon hogshead before a finish in a first-fill toasted barrique. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottled cask 95.41 at 58.7% ABV, with 285 bottles released. The toasted wood brings caramel, spice, and char to Auchroisk’s lighter fruit and nut character.
