An indie single cask Auchroisk, distilled in Speyside in April 2008. It spent over a decade maturing in cask number #805690 until August 2019, when The Single Cask cracked it open and bottled up the single malt at 56.5% ABV, with an outturn of 286 bottles.
Barley sugar and lemon blossom, with peppery oak and mace.
Rather tropical here, with lychee and pineapple leading into more nutmeg, followed by orange shortbread.
Floral malt and toasty oak, candied orange and a crack of black pepper.
