A Lowland single malt matured in 3 different casks, namely: Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, bourbon casks and Oloroso Sherry casks. A distinctive triple distilled whisky from Auchentoshan.
Cooked fruit, sherry, toffee, a rum-like quality and notes of Bas Armagnac distilled circa 1940.
Rich. Liqueur cherries in dark chocolate, more sherried fruit, ripe dark forest fruits, like a Black Forest Gateaux.
Superb, led by thick dark treacle and toffee notes and chewy wooded notes, balanced with a green fruit edge.

Rich taste. Nutty / Cognac aftertaste beautiful aroma.
Quite rich chocolate, loads of fruit and toffee notes slight spice very thick finish fruit.
One of my favourites, Rich with a sweet start and oaky-malty finish. Very smooth, with a slight amount of spice.
Not my kind of Whiskey, it tasted like a mix of Rum n Whiskey.. too sweet and too many flavours to savour. Overall I will not recommend it for sure.
NAS. Sweet, very heavily sherried but also fruity and with a rum quality and a hot finish. Tastes like a Sherry, Rum and Whisky mix. There’s almost too much going on, too many flavours thrown at it which means that for me it’s a tad confused. Not worth full price and not one I’d rush to try again.
