Auchentoshan Three Wood was first bottled in 2002, though its packaging was rebranded in 2008. This bottle here sports the original packaging, so you can be sure it was released pre-2008. The whisky itself gets its name because it's matured in bourbon before being re-racked into Spanish oloroso casks, and finally finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
