Bourbon
22 year old single malt from the Auchentoshan Distillery, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr. The whisky was distilled in April 1998, and allowed to age in a single bourbon barrel, until it was bottled March 2021, for the Celebration of the Cask series. A small release, with only 155 bottles produced.
Melted butter on crumpets, a touch of treacle tart, some subtle fruity wafts building.
Wonderfully well-rounded, with lots of vanilla and apricot, plus some classic Auchentoshan grassiness.
Dried peels and peanut butter on toast.
