Another great whisky by the Arran. A very smooth whisky with a gentle bit of sweetness.
Burns. It's the wee mice at Mosgiel, that ate me out of house and home. Were it not for them, I’d be farming still. Ah, Dumfries with the jolly beggar's and me the excise man. A taxing job to say the least, chasing Tam O'Shanter in the hills and down Sweet Afton’s way. Holy Willie's prayer gave no forgiveness, but a dram would set him free. Finn Mac Eoin ©
Very strong alcohol fume, but the pear and custard palate are there. Factor in $27 CAD this is by far better than Dewar's or Ballantine's of the same price and head-to-head with Chivas 12 and JW Black.
Great value whiskey! Chocolate taste!
So light and smooth that fulfills the taste buds succinctly.
