Arran 25 Year Old

25 year old single malt from the Arran Distillery, located on the island which shares its name. Launched in 2020, the 25th year of Arran's production, this expression was aged in a combination of 35% ex-sherry and 65% ex-bourbon casks, and it was all allowed 12 months of maturation in first-fill and refill sherry hogsheads before bottling. Here's to a quarter of a century of top whisky from Arran, and here's to many more!

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose Rich oak with a gentle nutmeg note. Sweeter aromas of baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries.

Palate Fruit cake with toasted almonds and cinnamon. The juicy zestiness of oranges and mandarins mellows perfectly with manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and an interesting white pepper note that provides even more complexity.

Finish Creamy and spicy with dark chocolate, walnuts and dark fruits compote.

Reviews for Arran 25 Year Old
Great delicious whisky!
Lovely nose and aromas. Complex taste profile with figs, juicy sultanas, cinnamon and ending with sweet chocolate and prune. I believe the first reviewer must not be right when putting in his fake review. Absolute ridiculous tosh. If you wanted a 40% watered down whisky with weaker tastes pls buy one and leave these alone for the rest of us.

In a class of its own
You really need to know whiskey to understand the quality if this masterpiece, this is not the Watered down rubbish at 40%abv you find in supermarkets, it’s a non chill filter no added colouring and at 46%abv quality whiskey you will find at the price point. Best whiskey Iv ever tasted add a little water to release the sherry and sweetness of figs and chocolate. The best ! Buy one while you can , if you can .

Hot, poorly made whisky.
Hands down my worse whisky purchase, ever. Hot. Very hot. WhiskyJason review on YouTube has this spot on, just a shame I never see that review before purchasing. I'd take a 12y/o bottle of anything over this, any day.
